I just have one serious question on this blog itself, why people all the time referening QA as a testing process,
i guess a guy/girl with minimum knowledge will differenciate betwee QA and QC.
all the age old doctors please give medicine to thos ewho are in dilemma.
QC and QA are completely different... QC focuses only on testing..more of a validation activity.. while QA focuses on the entire SDLC process.. more of a verification activity.PLEASE QA is not TESTING!
In many organizations QA=QC. In others, QA encompases QC (so testers/QC are part of QA group, but there are others who are not testers in the same group). Some have distinct QA and QC groups. I've worked in all three.
OK.. because in my workplace.. QA is totally different from QC.. there are no common members in them. its two different groups. Atleast here in India as far as i know. QA is not equal to QC.. My sir told me that QA meaning varies in different countries.. so had a doubt.!!
