First, I like the use of the word "heinous", as it is the word du jour in this region and one of my favorites.
Second, I own 4 pairs of Crocs. And I was wearing Uggs before Uggs were cool.
I'm the Imelda Marcos of the funky shoe group; I have all kinds of unusual footwear and the only prerequisite is that they be comfortable. At the moment, I'm wearing a very expensive pair of leather Pikolinos hand-stitched with a subtle pattern in gold, red, and purple.
There is nothing more comfortable than a pair of Crocs. I don't really care what they're made of. If you're going to be walking or on your feet all day, forget those fashionistas - there's nothing sadder than a sweaty, limping diva...
Oh Linda, no argument there. I'm allllll about comfy shoes finally being top sellers.
I'm baffled as to why people who are driven not by shoe love but by eco-consciousness buy these virgin resin shoes.
I'm no expert but my experience is that we cannot create these kinds of brilliant colors in environmentally friendly ways.
And nice choice on the Pikolinos. Classy and yet not dangerous to your health! Personally, before my feet betrayed me, I was a big fan of outrageous and not at all sensible shoes. I finally gave up my faux leopard skin pumps to someone who could actually use them.
