how do you prove your matches are safety matches?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, in fairness, there pretty much ARE no other kind any more. But actually, it's easy. Safety matches will only strike on the strip on the box or matchbook. Old-fashioned matches will strike on any dry, rough surface (one of my favorite teenage tricks - when I was still a smoker - was to strike them on the zipper or the seat of my jeans).
Another restiction: all cell phones have to go in checked baggage.
And yet another: upon landing, you must remain seated and buckled-in until the pilot turns off the seat belt sign. Oh --- wait --- that already IS a restriction! (If a visitor from outer space observed the behavior of airline passengers, they would probably assume that none of them spoke the same language as the crew member making the announcements.)
