Sadly, not a New England concoction, and since the only Krispy Kreme near Boston closed I don't think we will see that version.
You'd need to let the Krispy Kreme donut cool though, otherwise it would be hard to hold.
I don't think I would eat one either...unless I was paid to and only had to once.
