The local Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT) boys launched a purge against Rogue Traders.
Perhaps they should form a sub federation:

Good one! I like your proposal. In fact I bet that was their first name for it, until it got up on a PowerPoint...
Speaking of putting up new acronyms...I got an e-mail last winter from a lady who said her contract was coming to a close. She tried to be cute and said she was Functioning Under Contract Termination.
and then everyone can attend "Special High Intensity Training" to understand all of these acronyms
But in the end doesn't it all come down to BEER? Beer is the ultimate answer to all questions in the universe so yes the answer to your question is BEER.

I also like the politically insensitive DAMM (Drunks Against Mad Mothers) but I like it for the irony.
PS: I do not take the group or the name (MADD) if it does exist serious so please do not flame me for insensitivity (itís a joke people).
From an email I received regarding the build validation test results for an application under test... "The BVT for the AUT is AFU."

They should get the Film Actors Guild (FAG) onto it !

It's not just the acromyms you have to watch. I seem to remember Wang's UK help desk was briefly called "Wang Care" until they figured out why so many people were hanging up on them
