Hey! Did I apply to your company? One of the sentences I use in my cover letter is about achieving quality objectives.
My take is that an objective is an object that one is attempting to reach or get to.
Achieving is reaching or getting to an object.
So achieving a quality objective is going towards, and getting to the place you want to be where quality is concerned. The quality goal itself is defined elsewhere. It could be something as simple as:
remaining within the speed limit is your quality objective. Achieving it, is ensuring that your speedometer never exceeds the posted limit.
(this is one objective that I have a lot of difficulty achieving )
