what kind of personality each one of u r having?
whats ur philosophy/goal in life?
how these have helped u to do better in ur work..
i hope this gives a great scope for us to chit-chat...
lets start immediately..
let us chi-chat friends..
I suspect that most of us have a fairly assertive personality, and are slightly 'anal' in that we are suckers for details and the like. These are some qualities that tend to help people in QA - you have to stand up for yourself!
I can be assertive however my bigest traits are being easy going. It is very difficult to wind me up or get me stressed about anything. Hakuna mutata (No problems) and Pole Bwana (Take it easy) are my motos.
Second I love information and learning I am interested in almost anything and read (on the train) about 1.5hr a day however I am a slow reader. I love finding out about anything and everthing.
This helps me as I see a lot of people get very stressed when things pile up on them. I dont think this is good for the person or the project dont get phased just plod on like the tortoise and do the inportant things as well as you can. Often you can achive more by not panicing.
The second, well it just helps to know stuff some times.

Hey QA girl,
You r right.
most of us do have a very assertive personality.we assert ourselves when what we think is right.
but also we should have the ability for good humour and making the environment at times...
i just make fun of some bugs in a good way..not in an affending manner.
then i have a great analytical and logical ability and visualisation which helps in explaining,asserting..ourselves..
and yes we are all perfectionists in some way..
we know that things can be done in a better way..dont we?
