Okay, so since the time I became too old to go trick or treating myself, I've *adored* being at home to give candy to the little ones.
When I was younger, I remember that there was no way you'd catch me at an organized event over going out with friends to trick or treat, but that seems to be quite a trend now.
Question to parents/grandparents/aunts & uncles: Are you taking your kids trick or treating, or to an organized event? And for my own curiosity, was this your original plan, or has it changed in light of recent events...?
My nephew and niece go out trick or treating with my sister and brother in law to the houses on their street. They're only little guys (5 and 2), so one stree is more than enough. It's a close little community, so everyone knows everyone and the little guys have a blast.
I'm thinking of having a "Decorate Your Desk" contest here at work. We need some fun .
