Seeking advice on how to bridge the gap between test management and project management skillsets, to become more marketable for a PM role. I am in a Sr Test Mngr role but ultimately interested in becoming a Project Manager, thus obtained required PMI certification, however had no bites from employers hiring for a PM role.

If you consider the test part of the project as a project in itself you probably have planty of experience already. If you look at the areas that PMI focuses on you can probably find plenty of exaamples and achievements to interest an employer and enhance your CV.
