OT: Just a quick reminder ...

Just learned that an acquaintance & father of my daughter's friend passed a couple days ago from skin cancer. He was maybe 45. Sobering. Scary. Melanoma maybe 18 months ago, a round of chemo, back to work after a couple months. Had a recurrence over the summer, died suddenly Sunday. Got an infection and body to weak to fight it.

Hug your kids, call your parents. Keep some perspective on what's important.
