For those of you who are Sci Fi fans tonight (in the U.S.) is the final episode of "Battle Star Galactica". As someone who watched it from the beginning I am sorry to see it end, but I agree with the producers desire to end the series before it becomes tired and worn out.
It is being praised as one of the best shows on U.S. Television period. Mainly due to the writting and acting of the show. I agree. So... tune in and enjoy.
I must say it's a riveting serial. But it has gotten so strange in the final season. I am drawn to watch it, yet all I get from it is confusion. A big difference from the original series, but very well written. Much better than that old series. From what I gathered, we are all Cylons, with no hope for the future. So say we all!
Consider me a purist, I like my cylons acting like moving tin cans with red dots running back and forth, I never really was pulled into the new one. Glad its making the right decision though, some series just keep going on and on until there is nothing left.
So explain to me who the final 5 were? What did Zena see in her dream? who did she see? I realize Earth was destroyed when they arrived... (OK I have a question)
Does anybody remember the 2nd series of BSG from the 80s? When they actually land on Earth and they go around with these flying motorbikes which switch to normal ones? Then they decide Earth was not ready for them to be accepted in.
I remember watching this way back when... But I cannot even see a reference to it online! ANYONE? ANYONE?

Yes, this was a really uninteresting season in my opinion, getting rid of Apollo and Starbuck was just bad, the guys they stuck in were bland and really did not keep my interest. It was much better when they had the Planet Of The Week with maybe some information on where to go to get to Earth. Of course I watched in some, back then we didn't have as many options.
