I know! Great point Jason. Actually, here in Canada, we have subsidies for our political parties. Since everyone is effected by the weak economy right now, our Prime Minister outlined a plan to cut costs which included cutting these subsidies for 3 years or soemthing. Then the other parties formed a coalition and are trying to overthrow the government now, lol.
I vote that the people get to vote on any major spending concerns. I mean when was the last time that a politician didn't give themselves a raise? I don't blame them, I'd give myself a raise too if I had that as an option.
