The first one was kind'a ultra geek, although there's a charm to it, specially if it really sounds like a tardis (Disclaimer, I never missed an episode of "The Dr" when I was growing up in Costa Rica).
The second one... Are you kidding me?!?!
I'll take one of those (as a gift!) any day of the week and disregard how it looks like.
It's not the LP's that I'm concerned about - it's the 78's! (Seriously - I have a 4-speed deck I plan to get in working order, and I'm going to transfer my not inconsiderable collection of 78's to CD).
In case you think I am REALLY showing my age, some of the records are approaching 100 years old. And - no - I wasn't around when they were in the "top 10."
LPs are not a problem. I play them on my record deck, and very lovely they sound, too.
What I'm wondering about is what to do with my cassette tapes. Our last working tape deck has finally started to eat tapes and I haven't seen a tape to CD converter. Any suggestions?
