Since adulthood generally my Summers are pretty uneventful but this year I traveled to Europe and took part in a medium level white water rafting trip down the Inn in Austria. During the white water rafting trip, I also saw the "live" panorama that Panasonic uses in the beginning of its movies.
Even though I did suck up a lot of water during this trip, I would have to say that was the coolest thing I did this Summer.
Anyone want to share the coolest thing they did this Summer?
After I spent a week at the HP Software Universe in Las Vegas, my gf and I went to Greece for 2.5 weeks. We:
-upgraded to first class on the flight over (sweet!)
-met up with friends from home
-visited the Parthenon at the Acropolis in Athens
-saw the "changing of the guard" at Syndagma Square in Athens
-visited my 3 aunts, 1 uncle and 2 cousins in Athens
-partied and swam in Mykonos
-took a day trip to Tinos to visit my cousin and her husband
-partied and swam more in Santorini
-saw a (the most?) beautiful sunset in Oia in Santorini
-split up with friends from home
-relaxed in my father's village, Stemnitsa in the mountains
-partied and swam even more in Kalamata with my cousin and her husband
-rode coach on the flight back (ugh!)
Then, last Sunday I went to the NASCAR Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis.
...I was able to spend quality time with the three most important women in my life... my wife and my two daughters... I know... it's not some fantastic travelogue or cool vacation destination but in my life when I have so much work to do in my QA job and sometimes need to put in long hours, to be able to spend that time with the family is DEFINITELY a cool thing.

I gather you left them all up there? There is no mention of 'back down'
