Man raises playful otter pup that got lost ...
Otter bliss - Coasting - Myrtle Beach Sun News
"MURRELLS INLET -- About four weeks ago, a baby otter whose eyes had just opened got lost from his mother and other litter mates as the family foraged at Brookgreen Gardens. But the baby found a devoted human father. Larry Elliott, Brookgreen's senior animal handler at its Low Country Zoo, adopted the playful critter. Elliott tends the furry foundling while he's on duty at his garden job. He takes him home at night for baby bottles of milk substitute every four hours, a good night's sleep in a secluded spot at the Elliott house, and swimming lesson in the Elliotts' bathtub."
