...and it sounds like it realy is! Maybe they can do something right finally. lol. Seems like instead of waiting for developers to catch up with making use of the parallel processing, they're letting VMs do it for them. I guess VMs will be a subforum on here a little sooner now.
Well, I'm thinking instead of making something scalable you can just run 5 instances of it on one box. The performance wouldn't scale with VMs, but for other things like the max number of connections, processes, and threads it would.

I caught a demo of the Virtualization technology a few weeks ago, not being a fan of Microsoft technology it took me awhile to actually believe what they were saying would work that way. Until I saw it in action. I'm still not sure its better than Bladelogic or Xen, but its not too bad an alternative if that's what you have in house.
