I think the last time was in the 70s or something. Probably only because we grew the better weed.
I'll be surprised if the parity lasts the holiday season, though, because everyone is going to the States for Christmas shopping, but who can blame them when Canadian retailers want to maintain their prices? I rarely see a case where capitalism works itself out. Honestly, if our merchant DO try to take advantage of it, then they deserve what they get in the end (which will be crappier holiday sales).
I mean the bigger guys like Wal-Mart, of course, recognize this as an opportunity to slash prices a little, make us feel warm and fuzzy because we're getting a deal, which is probably better than going to the States anyway (for the most part) yet still make a killing on their margins. THIS is how you should capitalize! Focus on volume BABY!
