I'm sure it was amusing that the recruiter thought these two technologies were related, but they really are both virtualization technologies, and function on some of the same principles. Why can't we discuss them together?

I had a similar situation when I was asked whether I had experience working with all Windows versions from 95 to 98.
It's not as funny as yours but there was the implication that there was a '96 and '97 version, which I thought was funny. And I actually DID laugh. It actually gave me the giggles the rest of the interview. I didn't get the job.
