I know there are some Chicago folks out here. I'm in the area for business and was wondering which places people love the most.
So far I have tried Gino's East and Giodorno's - Giodorno's was better by far. I've avoided Pizzeria Uno (too busy and chainy seeming). Are there any others out there with great deep dish?
You hit the big 2... that's what I would have suggested.
You might try Lou Malnati's deep dish Chicago. Many say it's great, others prefer Uno & Due. I like Uno's but they are soooo busy.

Uno's is rockin'. You don't have to get it in Chicago, though, as you say, it is a chain and I didn't notice a difference between the Chicago and NYC locations. They don't have them everywhere, though.
The ORIGINAL Uno rocked when I was there (fairly regularly once upon a time) before the knock-offs/franchise/chain-things... Haven't been there in a while - the others, well, don't...

Yeah, yeah: the Pixies were a lot better when I was the only one I knew who had heard of them.
How about Suparosa?
