Used to be, we call them 'maartse buien' which translates as March showers or so. But climate is warming extremely rapidly (we just had nr 3 summer, nr 1 autumn and nr 1 winter since at least 1706 when reliable measurements began) so showers in March tend to be just rain nowadays. Actually as of Sunday we're in for a long spell of sunny and (very) warm weather for the time of year.
