Vista downloads could bring down the internet?

    http://chris.pirillo.com/2006/06/09/...wnload-vs-dvd/

In the context of how fast Microsoft is serving downloads on the new Windows Vista Beta:

"We are pumping out bits as fast as we can. If we pushed out bits any faster there would be a measurable impact for the Internet. So, we are literally saying that if we increased our bandwidth any further there’s a possibility of taking down the Internet"

I find that hard to believe.. seriously.

Why aren't they using torrents for distribution anyways? that would completely decentralize the downloads and solve any bandwidth problems.

.. and of course they listened and are now serving torrents.

If a virus has a bug is it really a virus?

Sure it is. As long as it does some harm. Think about it, every piece of software with a critical bug that causes harm to the client's property is in effect a virus. What really differentiates it from an actual virus is the lack of intention to harm.

If code written with malicious intent isn't functioning according to design, it could be rendered benign and justly classified as non-pathogenic. I wonder if there are any job opportunities in QA for virus developers?
