Re: what are your own quotes?

The ones I use (not sure if I can call them mine as I may have picked them up somewhere in the distant past)

"He can't tell the difference between sh1t and clay" - used to describe idiots

"I wouldn't do that for a gold pig" - my way of saying no way am I doing that

"I'll have a freshly squeezed Guinness please" - Nightly warcry

"Have you worked in IT before" - used when someone who works in IT asks a really dumb IT related question

    Best quote I ever heard:

During a meeting to make sure we had everything covered for a weekend roll-back of the system:

Project Manager to DBA - "Are you clearing down the Oracle DB's?"

DBA - "Someone else is doing that"

PM - "I have worked for a number of large corporations that had an employee called somebody..... I have yet to meet them"

    Mark.

Re: what are your own quotes?

For all the phrases that my friends and coworkers give me grief for using, I can only think of one.

    "Do you need a hug?"

It's not a true 'original'...but it comes in handy when people are ****ing and moaning about whatever it is that they are ****ing and moaning about.
