In regards to Dive watches. I didn't see the Casio G-Shock digitals (200 meter depth rating). Best buy for the money. About $75-100 and they are very very tough watches. I have either had it long enough to kill the battery or lost it overboard for some dumb reason, never had one die on me during or after a dive. I can't justify taking a $500 plus Citizen or similar into the water (California waters, and warm water stuff on vacation).
Besides nowadays with the wrist mounted computers a dive watch is only used as a back up measure (unless you go redundent computers - hose mounted and standalone like I do).
What ya got to do when you want to make sure your dive will go all right.
