Anybody else buying (or trying to buy) what I will be trying to buy this Tuesday???
Any strategies or tips to actually landing one?

If it is a Turkey - just do what I do:
Buy those microwavable reconstituted Turkeyloin thinggies and then buy the Frozen Mocrowaveable Boston Market add-ons like Mash Potatoes, etc
Easy good tasting meal!
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

One of my testers will be heading for a less-than-popular community with a Wal-Mart, where he'll be camped out at midnight tonight, cash in hand to buy a -------------------> X-Box!
That is being released already?
Wow - and I'm still saving up for that Nintendo I wanted!
Yah, tomarrow is when the Xbox 360 gets released... if you dont have one reserved I feel sorry for you. mace, and a tazer may be required for survival...
If you get there early enough. I dont see why you wouldnt get one...unless there is a line already camped there

Time will tell whether it stays as an Xbox or turns into a turkey...

Phil, so if one says "A turkey is generally a safe and enjoyable investment."; what does it all mean?
Like the add advocating turkeys as pets over cats and dogs says, "Remember children, a turkey is not for life, it's just for Christmas"

This is as good a thread as any to jump in.
And on topic, I will not be buying one. I've never been comfortable with consoles, since my departure from the original NES games.
Good tech though. Hopefully they'll manage to sustain a good library of worthwhile titles.
