I read my son's blog. He's at university. It's the nearest thing we get to a letter home. It keeps me up-to-date with what he's up to (usually going to see bands and occasionally some studying!) without having to ask. And, yes, we are also in regular phone contact, before you ask. I also read an ex-colleague's blog. She has just moved to Australia and her blog is a diary of how she is settling in and interesting places she and her partner have visited. It's a good blog and it makes everyone in the office really jealous!
Good stuff. I just started my own blog. Zoe, kinda like what your son has, nothing technical, just a chronicle of mundane stuff. I guess it's a decent way to keep in touch with people when you cant find the time.
Ofcourse, I wont be forwarding the blog address to my mum for a while. I have been getting into a lot of trouble of late. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
