Lotus Notes question
Hey, before I go post on a Notes forum, thought I'd try here first, know we've got a few Notes users here who may be able to help me.
So, we have a customer having a problem with our solution and their Notes db. They sent us a copy of their db. We can't open it - I assume because this db was created on a different domain. I let them know that we needed an ID with which to open it and they said that the default access was set to Manager so there should be no problem.
I'm thinking the only solution is to send them one of our IDs and have them add it to the ACL or have them send us one of their IDs with which we can open the db and then add our own users.
Is there another solution? Can anyone explain what's going on here in simple terms?
Re: Lotus Notes question
Turns out the client sent the wrong db. Sent us one with lower access rights and lo and behold, I could open it. Problem solved.
