I want to build an application that allows me to edit Excel sheets.
I'd like to have a tree object that shows the hierarchy of my c: drive.
The user clicks on the file. It opens and then the user can edit fields. It sounds a lot like MS Excel, but I want it to be very scaled down.
20 years ago I would have used Clipper or FoxPro and I could write it in a few days.
What is the easiest and quickest way to do this now?
I'd like the application to be on the web so that I can get to it when users are on the road.
I know that they have this in google apps, but I want it to look even more simple and have my companies name on it.
I did a down and dirty website a couple of years ago using PHP
Patience is like bread I say.... I ran out of that yesterday.
I just Googled PHP.
How good are the Template Generators? Are they intuitive?
I didn't use the templates, I used a W3 schools tutorial PHP 5 Tutorial to learn.
