Never owned an ipod, iPhone or i-anything ....... nor do I ever intend to, But I assume these cars have some fancy control and interaction with the i-player ????
All I can ask is why if such is already part of the device ?
I am surprised that only Toyota are reporting such.
Because it is bordelinle illegal to be using an MP3 player directly while driving and it is certainly illegal to be using a phone such as an iPhone while driving.
Yet it is entirely acceptable to use the radio unit in the car's centre console.
go figure.
"Not every solution was derived to address an obvious problem" - Me (quite recently indeed)
Yeah I saw a current affairs show about using mobile phones and the like.
It seems to be more up to the policeman's discretion about distractions even using a hands free device. One guy got busted plugging in a hands free device.
