My fav. QC error message ...

I love this one, after too much idle time. If I'm already disconnected, why do I need to log out? ;-)

That's definitely a classic. And the resulting error when you actually do try to log out.

I miss the DOS "Bad User" error.

Re: My fav. QC error message ...

My favourite web bug is a local insurance company has an online quote system, in the part where you enter your address it makes both City and post code fields mandatory (even though it did not flag it as such) and when you enter both, if they don't match it returns an error message saying they don't match without offering alternates. So if you don't know the city and post code you can't get a quote !

Most other similar sites allow you to enter city and auto populates the post code or if your enter a post code it offers up matching cities for that post code, i.e. they are user friendly, the above I regard as a punitive user hostile approach I often see in my Testing/QA travels.
