I just wanted to share with you guys something that I am sure you can relate. I made a comment to some fellow software testers as we were gathered for a Leadership Summit this weekend and this colleague writes poems about software testing. She was inspired by a quote I made. My quote is at the bottom and refers to how I view testing.
at a glance, chaotic.
upon closer inspection, patterned chaos
same twists repeated
condoned, condemned, enabled, bemoaned
ready for further twists, intentional
incremental changes, now Structured chaos
allowing inherent Nature, unpredictability
to predictably Create

- This poem was inspired by a new quote from Jean Ann Harrison at the AST Leadership Meeting:
"Software Testing is a role that satisfies my need for structure within chaos and chaos within structure. "
