I'll take a look at this spybot forum.
Spybot Search & Destroy found this Virtumonde virus, Fixed and Deleted it. Unfortunately this virus keeps coming back as soon as you run Windows Internet Explorer.
Believe it or not!
-- Antivirus companies such as Symantec does not even claim that their tool can successfully eliminate the Virtumonde virus. They do list the files created by such virus but, that's about it.
The rest of the sites claiming they have the solution for removing Virtumonde virus -- (according to our MIS guys) we have to be careful, as they just want to sell their tools.
I always do virus removal in safe mode without networking or anything. Just bare bones. Chances are it's got something in there that is coming up on start-up.
Also, you can search for something called Stinger. It's been a while since I used the thing, but it's a good app for blowing away tough ones, too. I think it's targeted towards certain viruses only though.
9 out of 10 people I prove wrong agree that I'm right. The other person is my wife.
