I have written Java code that uses R a statistical package to create various distribution of times to hit my web URL. Now I would like to use Pushtotest to automate this. Moreover I am interested in using any API available to measure the response times by integrating my test cases with pushtotest. Now my code is not a JUnit test. But that will be changed.
Is there any advise from the team ? I will generate measurement graphs using the metrics outside Pushtotest using R.
Is this feasible ? The other way is to pass the time distributions(delays) to Pushtotest somehow and let it hit the web url.
Re: API Integration
TestMaker logs all the results to a results repository. This is normally MySQL or Oracle. The schema is published on the PushToTest Web site, and the schema creation scripts are available in the Preferences panel of the TestMaker Console (see the Repository tab.)
You can have TestMaker call R as a step in the test - or a global teardown method.
Please let me know what you accomplish with R and TestMaker.
