Wanting to learn rational tools looking for Education Sites
Hi all: I am a retired IBM'er. I was in software test for many years as a manual black box tester. I am interested in learning rational test tools. Can anyone please help me out here and point me in a direction where I may find education on rational test tools, how to use etc, I would like to be certified if possible. Also can anyone tell me what the most popular tools compinies are using today. Thanks so much in advance.
Re: Wanting to learn rational tools looking for Education Sites
I'm assuming you mean outside of this site and the IBM-Rational sites. The best of the IBM-Rational sites for learning is the Rational Developers Network (RDN) www.rational.net
Probably the best site for learning about Rational tools for performance testing is my site.
Much of that information is also on RDN, but not all of it.
Mercury owns over 50% of the sales in the testing tool space, I'll reserve my commentary on why I think that is. The rest of the market is divided up relatively evenly over the last 5 years ammong Rational, Segue, Empirix, Compuware and "all the others".
Hope that helps!
