How do I simulate Virtual users creating unique accounts. Each time a create a sceanario it is unique so when I run a playback the script will obviously fail because the account has already been created.
How do I work around this little obstacle.
Please forgive me if this is an obviouse question.
Microsoft WAS seems very straight forward, if there are any experts on any of these products I will appreciate your input.
first i need to know which protocol your system is using in order to connect the CSR with the serevr?(Sql-Net,DCOM,http,etc.) ?
please try to answer this question and then we will proceed to the next stage.
I have previously worked in a similar environment where we had to create unique customer accounts.
What you may want to consider is creating parameters/variables to replace the recorded data.
You could then store these in a file to use as imput to your test.
This can easily be created using a spreadsheet like excel to build up a large data file or alternatively you could code some of this into your scripts using something like vUserID/Number and date/timestamp to create unique values.
Hope this helps.

If your environment is Citrix, you can use CitraTest VU for this requirement. Because the test scripts are VB based, making a data driven engine that would read the input from an external CSV file is very straight forward. In addition, CitraTest VU is not installed on the Metaframe server ensuring that your results are not affected by the "testing" tool. For more information, please visit www.tevron.com.
