Multi Branch Banking Performance Testing
I am wondering what would be the requirement/setups/factors to consider for performance testing of a Multi Branch Banking system.
By Multi Branch Banking what i mean is, say there is a banking application server located at a location "A". The banking application server can be accessed from multiple location say B, C, D. The branch B may have a dedicated connectivity to Location A, where as C and D may be out of the country and may use internet to connect to the banking server.
My requirement is to consider all this and simulate the same environment at location A and measure the response time and throughput.
My question is what are the factors and components that i need to consider and simulate in order to mimic the real life scenario.
I tried my best to explain my question, just in case you need more clarity on the problem let me know.

Rajkumar, perhaps you and your organization, ThinkSoft Global Services, should consider a mentor to work with your organization as you move through this endeavor. As a Sr. Test Engineer with your organization you must have a working hypothesis on how you would test such a solution.
Let your experience as a seasoned test engineer be your guide. Find an analogy that you have tested which has similar geographic dispersed clients. What were the challenges there? How did you overcome them?
