Automating Performance Tests Completely
hi, has anybody tried to automate the Performance Tests completely??
well know about the tools that are available for specifically this purpose, but currently we are allowd to work only on Opensource/free tools.
the tools i use are..
1. Jakarta - JMeter (for generating Load)
2. Windows Performance Monitors for getting cpu usage, mem usage and all that kinda stuff,
3. Linux utilities (namely SAR) for getting Linux performance as above(cpu, mem etc.)
4. Ant for creating batch script from JMeter.
-- is anybody aware how to either use ANT for starting/stopping windoews perf monitor or other Linux utilities???
-- is anybody aware of any other tools that can be used for Automating this part??
-- is anybody aware of any tools for creating good charts / reports from the CSV files i get from these tools??
Re: Automating Performance Tests Completely
