    Testing training

I was working as a quality assurance executive for the past 2 years. I am planning to shift to the testing domain. As a starting point for that I am planning to learn few testing tools like winrunner and load runner. I am currently stationed at Los angeles and am quie new to this place.

Is there anybody out there who could suggest good training institutes in Los angeles?

I would be grateful to you.

    Re: Testing training

Hrmm. WinRunner and LoadRunner? Who created those programs? Oh yes, that'd be Mercury. I wonder if they might offer training programs for their software. Let me check. [dramatic pause] Well whaddya know, they do...and in the LA area too!

(If you're truly looking to get into testing, the first thing that you want to learn is how to be resourceful and find things like this out on your own. It will save you a lot of heartache in the future.)

Ohyeah, one other thing to consider. If you don't have a testing background, then you'll probably want to chase down some training in that area as well. Tool knowledge is a nice thing. But, if you don't understand testing, then the only thing you have is tool knowledge.
