I am new in this performance testing area.
I should test the documentation system, which use Oracle database.
I should get the following data:
- Server resource utilization (CPU, memory, disk)
- Database server resource utilization (CPU, memory, disk)
- Response times
- Server resource bottleneck
Is there any open source performance tool or "low-cost" tool which I could get these data?
I need about 1000 VUs.

Re: Database performance
What kind of application is it? Web, Client Server? If it is a Web application, take a look at OpenSTA (there is a dedicated forum for this on this site).
If it is client server, then your options are few and they all tend to be commercial high-cost tools.
The needed monitor data can be obtained from tools that come with Oracle and the OS Oracle is running on. You would have no need for additional tools. I suggest you talk to your systems experts and your DBA to see what they can do for you.
