we are load testing a VB .NET application (not web based)using LoadRunner 7.5. We got a .NET patch from Mercury for LoadRunner.
Mercusy says it's easy as 1-2-3 to do it. The example shows that you have to copy the entire source code into the framework provided by LR.
In our case the application is bit complex and it's not easy to just cut-copy-paste source code into differernt sections "init, actoin and exit"
If anyone has ued LR for load testing of VB .NET applicaiton please guide us about how it works.
I am currently using the LR .NET Add-in for C# Virtual User Project.
If you want to re-use your projects client side VB code, then you simply add a reference to the relevant source or compiled DLL files in the VS.NET solution explorer (right-click on your project in the solution explorer and select 'Add-Reference').
This will add a references folder under your project and give you full access to the client side source when developing your VB.NET Vuser script.
Note you need to import the relevant namespaces at the top of your VUser script, e.g.
