how long it takes the memory to restore to its value
How long it takes the memory to restore to its original value? For example, I am testing for a memory leak, and I am measuring the memory using the task manager before starting my application, then start my application and execute my load testing, then stop my application and measure my memory again using the task manager, the problem is the memory remains lower than the original value (before starting my application) for 20-30 minutes before coming back to the original value…is that normal?

To better find out what is happening use the performance monitor look for the pool nonpaged bytes and private bytes for processes.
After a test let the system sit unused for a while. If you have components running, check out your timeout values and wait until that time has passed.
Most memory leaks can be found with 1-2 hours.
