    Performance Level Testing Definitions

I am attempting to find a source which will provide me with the definitions for the following terms:

    1. Baseline
    2. Capacity
    3. Endurance
    4. System

(Unfortunately, my employer will not pay the fee for IEEE, so please let me know if there are other sources.)

    Thanks

    Re: Performance Level Testing Definitions

Do you need something to define these exact terms, or do you need definitions of terms that cover those topics? There are as many different ways to categories performance related tests as there are performance testers/engineers, and almost as many published standards to back them up.

    Re: Performance Level Testing Definitions

I don't have any industry recognized reference material that will define those specifically for you, however, do a keyword search on this forum for those - I seem to remember a thread that might have the definitions for you.
