I recently ran a test for 500 users split across 8 generator machines (62-63 users apiece). All boxes at running NT sp6 with 330 Pentium II processors, and 522,352 KB
of memory. 6 out of the boxes that were running received an error that said "The session with a remote server has been disconnected because the time-out interval for a request has expired." This caused all the users currently running to fail. However, when the next ramp up occurred those boxes were able to keep running the new users being started. Has anyone ever seen this problem. Is it a network problem or a something with the PCs themselves. All received the error at different levels but it was between 43 and 63 users.
