Performance Testing for Client
I would like to know if performance testing for a Web/Non-Web based Client be performed?
If yes, How?
The performance testing should be purely related to the Client & no way a Server to be involved. I have come across various stuff on performance related to C/S.
I would like to know if these aspects are considered in performance testing(perform as specified at predetermined levels, including wait times, static processes, dynamic process, peak concurrent loads, large data etc) or anything else.
Please explain in broad terms.

Re: Performance Testing for Client
adarshkothari: Performance testing can be completed on any type of application. When you are asking how, you'd have to clarify if you mean basic principles of performance testing and analyzation, which would be similar with some notable exceptions, or the toolset. All of the major vendors provide tools that work for desktop and C/S applications - just click on a few of the ads at the left of the screen and check out their product offerings.
Outside of that, you'd need to provide a bit more detail for us to provide a good answer to your question.
