Waiting for a map
I'm testing a web system that delivers (geographic) maps to the user. Generating a map can take quite a while - depending on zoom level, layers of information requested etc.
Does anyone know of a (free, cheap?) tool that includes the following features ...
(a) Waits for a complete response from the server before proceeding with the next client message.
(b) Stores the pages sent to the client (for further analysis).
(c) Simulates multi-users with different user ids, passwords, test cases.
Phew! that should do for now.
Re: Waiting for a map
Microsoft Web Application Stress Tool is a freeware(I have used 6 months before). I think that it is a cheapest one. It will be suitable for your second & third questions. But I'm not sure for your first question.
Anyway other tools from Rational, Mercury, SilkTest are costly...
Thanks & Regards,
