I have been developing an open source performance/load testing tool for web services.
I am looking for a few people who are willing to try out a beta version and give me feedback. Contact me through my website (in my sig) if you would like to help. If you have other questions and want to discuss, you can also reply to this thread.
The goal of building this is to offer a free tool for the community to use.

What Is It?
Pylot is a free tool for testing the performance and scalability of web services. It runs HTTP load tests, which are useful for capacity planning, benchmarking, analysis, and system tuning.
Pylot generates concurrent load (HTTP Requests), verifies server responses, and produces reports with metrics. Tests suites are executed and monitored from a GUI. The code base also exposes a simple Python API for integrating the Pylot engine with other scripts.
Looks interesting. I'll contact you. Quick questions though. Can it read JMX files?
