Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knows of a tool that utilizes PERFMON counters (either through WMI or SNMP) that has as much functionality as the LoadRunner controller does?
I've tried a couple of WMI/SNMP server monitoring tools out there but they just don't give you the flexibility that LoadRunner does. For example, the saving of all the raw data for later analysis, dynamically coalescing multiple monitors into a single graph and also overlaying other tests, etc.
Does such a tool exist or do I have to just stick with LoadRunner? The thing is, the scripting/automation part is already taken care of by a simple application. I just need a better monitoring/analysis component.
Re: Perf Monitor tool like controller in LoadRunner?
We used to use Performance SeNTry to capture PERFMON stats during desktop regression testing (http://www.demandtech.com/products.html). From what I remember, it created an output file that you could pull up and analyze later.
