Can QTP be used w/ MS visual studio ultimate test?
I have fully automated the web and win versions of my AUT. I am starting to use ms visual studio ultimate test to do some performance testing It would be really nice if I could somehow link to my QTP code so I that I do not have to write all that same code over again in vs

There are large efficiency gains that come from using a transport level virtual user lower in the OSI. Using a GUI Script, for example, means that you must run a full browser instance, which in turn means you can host fewer virtual users per host with GUI users than transport level (HTTP virtual users). So, the efficiency gain you see as not having to rebuild scripts will be offset by a larger performance test infrastructure and scripts which require a higher level of intervention for synchronization with the host (transport level scripts with few exceptions are self-synchronizing).
The number of business processes under load is also significantly smaller than your automated script library. You may have a 1000 functional automation scripts but perhaps only five to a dozen load scripts.
