My name is Ravi Shankar D and I am studying Master's in Software Engineering and Management at Gothenburg IT University, Sweden. At the moment, I am doing research for my Master's Thesis "Significance of Software Performance Metrics on Business Metrics".
I would greatly appreciate your response for this survey, As it contributes to achieve my Master's degree.
This survey is well suited for those with Software testing, Quality management, project management and development background or experience but nevertheless to say, it could be answered by anyone who has knowledge of SPM(Software Performance Metrics) and BM(Business Metrics).
Once again I request you to take up the survey as It takes only few minutes to answer the questions and all answers are anonymous.
Re: Software Performance Metrics and Business Metrics
What do you mean by "perfomance metrics?" To me this is just a number that is the result of a performance test and as such is meaningless w/out a context in which determine how to evaluate them.
On the whole I found the questions to be vague and unclear. I'm not trying to be harsh, but I'm a tester and I spend most of my time and effort fleshing out what people mean by the statments and terms they use which is wholly meaningless w/out context.
