Query on J-Meter stress tool
I have a web application which I need to test using Jmeter. There are some fields in the Application which I need to fill in and when I hit the execute button, an SQL query is sent to the SQL Database through the Web Server.
Now, the problem I'm facing is that when I try to send the query using J-meter, it gets executed in less than a second whereas it would usually take a few seconds to complete if done manually.
It maintains a session ID as well and I think its something to do with it but not sure.
I've tried passing parameters and all but didnt work.
I'm using J-Meter version 1.5 and version 2.x
Could anyone please let me know how to send an HTTP query which passes some SQL statements in it and get it processed using J-Meter.
Re: Query on J-Meter stress tool
Your question isn't totally clear.
You can insert pre-determined delays in JMeter, and you can pass any string of data to a web server using an HTTP Request element. You can also use JMeter's proxy to record your actions, and play them back.
