Could you please explain 1. How JTest is different from Rational Robot?

Rational Robot differs from JTest in the method by which it records system interaction. JTest enables the tester to test lower level components directly (within unit testing) whereas Rational Robot tests lower level components indirectly by recording interaction with an external interface (system testing).
JTest also provides functions to enforce coding standards and is an integrated solution for developers running tests from within their IDE.
